Okay, I know I talk about the weather a lot but - given that the UK is unseasonally sunny at the moment - just wanted to note that the skies here continue to be grey and overcast, and that everything is rainy, damp and slightly chilly, in fact exactly English autumn weather. Damn.

But today - with bright sunshine - brought Moscow into clear focus again. The rich beauty of the trees, and the memories of other autumns with Russians wearing garlands of golden leaves and walking through the parks with their families. Am planning to join in this weekend - assuming the 'British' weather hasn't come back again!
